The Oyster Box offers an exciting calendar of culinary events throughout the year, from the launch of seasonal cocktails in our signature Lighthouse Bar to unique tasting journeys by our Executive Chef. Wine Wednesdays
Rust en Vrede, nestled on the Helderberg Mountain’s lower slopes, offers stunning views of Table Mountain to the West. Our vineyards face mainly North, benefiting from unique aspects. Shielded from winds by surrounding mountains, our microclimate specialises in red wine production, particularly Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, known for their full-bodied structure and excellent ageing potential, all crafted from Estate-grown grapes.

Spier Wine Estate produces terroir-driven wines sustainably, showcasing each vintage’s story. Led by Cellar Master Johan Jordaan, our team focuses on soil health and ethical practices. Our organically certified farm is a WWF-SA Conservation Champion, and we uphold high standards as members of WIETA. With certifications including FSSC 22000 and Control Union Vegan, we follow IPW criteria for integrated wine production. Please note this event is for adults only.

Spring has Sprung! Join us for a Floral High Tea experience in the Palm Court, to celebrate the most colourful season of the year.

The Iona Vineyards in Elgin, at 420m, enjoy cool breezes and high humidity, making it one of South Africa’s coolest sites. This climate allows gradual grape ripening, preserving aromatics and achieving lower alcohol levels. Please note this event is for adults only.
